Cookie Policy
The cookies and similar technologies niroai.app and the NIRO dashboard use, what each one does, and how to control or delete them.

What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser so it can recognise you between pages and visits. Local storage does a similar job in the browser itself. This policy uses "cookies" for both.
Strictly necessary
The NIRO dashboard stores your sign-in session so you stay signed in, and the site remembers the language you chose (app_language, in local storage). These are needed for the service to work, so they cannot be switched off.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are used. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>, which Google keeps for up to two years by default. We use the reports in aggregate; Google processes the data under its own privacy policy.
Preferences
In the dashboard, the sidebar_state cookie remembers whether the sidebar is open or collapsed. It lasts seven days.
Third-party cookies
If you sign in with Google, or connect WhatsApp through Meta in the dashboard, those providers set their own cookies. They are governed by Google's and Meta's policies, not this one.
Controlling cookies
Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will sign you out of the dashboard.
To stop Google Analytics on every site you visit, install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
